The Universidad de Salamanca program is highly competitive, sending only two representatives from ISU each year at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This program is designed for advanced Spanish language learners to have an entirely immersive Spanish study abroad experience.
Students can earn 12-15 credits during a fall/spring semester at Universidad de Salamanca.
Students will meet with the Salamanca Faculty Advisor prior to departure to map out a tentative class schedule and complete the Academic Planning Form.
Grade Conversion and Credit Transfer: Grading and credit conversions for Universidad de Salamanca have already been evaluated for ISU credit. Please see the Academics page for a guide to Grade Conversions and Credit Transfers.
Students will have the option between residence halls, shared flats, or homestay.
Visit the Universidad de Salamanca housing page for more details about accommodation options.
Official program dates are listed on each semester’s Estimated Budget
