PUCV offers courses for students at an intermediate or advanced level of Spanish acquisition who are seeking an intensive immersion program with local students while earning credit towards a major or minor.
Students will earn 6 credits during a summer session at PUCV.

Students studying at PUCV can follow one of four tracks while studying in Chile:
Students who opt to enroll in the program with the Service Learning course can choose to earn senior level hours for the class or LALS 398A01 - Professional Practice Internships, which is an elective in the Latin American and Latino/a Studies minor sequence.

Students studying at PUCV will have the option to live with a host family or in a pension (guest house) during their study abroad experience.
Please note: Pensiones are not available during the intensive month. Students interested in intensive month programming should choose a homestay placement.
