CIDEF is an excellent study abroad opportunity for French majors and minors who are seeking a semester or academic year study abroad opportunity in France.
Students can earn 12-15 credits during a fall/spring semester at CIDEF.

Course Equivalencies: Students will meet with the Faculty Advisor for this program prior to departure to map out a tentative class schedule and complete the Academic Planning Form

Students stay with a host family arranged by the CIDEF staff.
Students will have a choice between kitchen access or a meal plan provided by the host family
A host family may consist of parents and several children, two generations live in one house, a host consisting of a single woman, or any combination of the previously mentioned
