Students in this program will learn about the city of La Paz, in the Baja of California peninsula, known for its pristine and spectacular natural ecosystem, and also because of the success of its environmental movement.
Students will receive 3 credits for participating in this program.
Students will earn credit for the following course:
Geography, by nature, is a field-base discipline. This course is intended to give you an experience traveling, exploring, and learning in Mexico. This course will revolve around observing, analyzing, and experiencing cultural, historical, and natural landscapes in Baja California Sur, in particular, in the city of La Paz.
The class will take place primarily in La Paz, Mexico.
Students will stay at a hotel and share a room with another ISU student for the duration of the program
