The Universidad de Deusto - CIDE program offers students majoring or minoring in Spanish the opportunity to experience an immersive semester abroad learning opportunity. This program is particularly well fit for Bilingual Education Majors, as it offers observation hours towards the required graduation requirement within the College of Education.

Students can earn 12-18 credits during a fall/spring semester at Universidad de Deusto-CIDE, or up to 7 credits in a summer. There are two academic tracks for students at Desuto, Language & Culture and Business & Spanish, students must choose only one of the tracks.
Located in the north-central part of Spain, Bilbao is considered a city with great history and modern amenities including the famous Guggenheim Museum.
The Institution: Universidad de Deusto was founded in 1886 when this seaport town was experiencing significant growth and prides itself on having international partnerships with over 200 schools all over the world.
Campus Amenities: Academic advisement, study rooms, Office of Student Assistance, library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, Student ID and email address, cultural activities, conversation exchanges.
Students are encouraged to live with host family in CIDE's homestay program, but also have the option to live in a residence hall or a shared apartment.
