Identity-Based Scholarship List
- Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) Scholarship for LGBTQ Students
Eligibility:
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or Person of Color and as a member of the LGBTQ community
- Must demonstrate a proven committment to furthering your education
BIPOC LGBTQ Scholarship: Information and Application
- Diverse International Women of Color (DIWC) Scholarship
Eligibilty:
- Must idenity as a women of color (not limited to Black or African-American, Native American, Hispanic/Latina or Asian)
- Must be a student and attend college or university in the United States
- Minimum GPA of 2.7
- Must be accepted to a study abroad program
DIWC Scholarship: Information and Application
- Diversity Abroad Overseas Ambassador Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must identify as African-American/Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, first generation, Hispanic/Latino, LGBTQ, low-income, multiracial, Native American, and/or as a student with disabilities
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must study abroad for a full Fall, Spring, or Summer term
Diversity Abroad Overseas Ambassador Scholarship: Information and Application
- Gammu Mu Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must be under 35 year of age
- Must identify as LGBT or specifically as a gay male (two separate scholarships)
- Preference given to students who currently live in, have come from, or plan to attend school in a rural and/or underserved area; have overcome issues of discrimination and/or marginalization within their community; demonstrate leadership qualities and pursue goals to benefit the LGBT community; and/or demonstrate a strong academic performance
Gamma Mu Scholarship: Information and Application
- Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must be of Hispanic Heritage
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must have FAFSA submitted

Eligibility:
- Must identify as African-American or Black
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must plan to study abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks (28 days)
NAFSA Tamara H. Bryant Memorial Scholarship: Information and Application
- The National LGBTQ Scholarship Fund
Eligibility:
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must be "out" as a person who idenitfies as a member of the LGBTQ community
- Must be enrolled full-time for the full academic year
- Must be enrolled in a degree-granting program (post-doctoral research programs are not eligible)
