National Scholarships List
- Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be currently enrolled and in good standing at a college or university
- Must be applying for a study abroad program of at least 3 weeks and is eligible for credit at the student’s educational institution
- Must be a recipient of a Federal Pell Grant or can provide proof that you will be receiving a Pell Grant at the time of application or during your study abroad program

- Boren Awards - International Scholarship
Scholarship Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen at the time of application
- Must be a high school graduate or have earned a GED
- Must be matriculated in an undergraduate degree program located within the United States accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Must remain matriculated in their undergraduate programs for the duration of the scholarship and may not graduate until the scholarship is complete
- Must apply to a study abroad program that meets home institution standards in a country outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
- Planning to study in a country of which they are not a citizen
Boren Scholarship: Information and Application
- Boren Awards - International Fellowship
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen at the time of application
- Must be matriculated in a graduate degree program located within the United States accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Must be matriculated in a graduate degree program by the start date of their fellowship and may not graduate until the fellowship is complete
- Must apply to a study abroad program that meets home institution standards in a country outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
- Planning to study in a country of which they are not a citizen
Boren Fellowship: Information and Application
- Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S
- Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university in the U.S
- Must plan to study abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks (28 days)
FEA Scholarship: Information and Application
- Gilman-McCain Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen
- Must be currently enrolled and in good standing at a college or university
- Must be applying for a study abroad program of at least 3 weeks and is eligible for credit at the student’s educational institution
- Must be a dependent child of an active duty military member(s) during the time of application in one of the following branches: Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard, including activated (currently on active duty) Reserve Forces, Air National Guard, and Army National Guard
- Must be a recipient of any type of Title IV federal financial aid during the time of application or provide proof that you will be receiving Title IV federal financial aid during your study abroad program
